Desktop Labels takes the drudgery out of bulk mailings. This bargain-priced program speeds up the dirty process of getting information out to customers and clients by combining a database, a label maker, and a bar coder.
Simplify Your Life. Created for small businesses and home-based users, Desktop Labels is far easier to use than its closest competitors, MySoftware's MyAdvancedMailList and MyAdvancedLabelDesigner. The searchable and filterable database is simple; it can be split or merged with other databases and sorted into three user-defined categories. When it comes time to create your label, you can use a preformatted design and clip art or easily incorporate your own design. The Label palette lets you sketch and add color and/or a pattern. There is also a great import/export function: Simply cut and paste drawings you've created in other applications (as long as they're PICT or EPS images) and then print them onto virtually any kind of label. Our only complaint is a minor one: It's somewhat difficult to manually enter several lines of text onto a label.
Desktop Labels goes the final mile with its bar coder: When you're ready for mailing, POSTNET bar codes speed letters and packages to their destination.
